In the coming 1.5 years the offered high-class warehouses in the Republic will increase in twenty times

The level of rental rates in Kyrgyzstan for the high-quality warehousing facilities under construction exceeds the average Russian rate by на 37% that is $114/sq. m net of VAT, told Stanislav Akhmedzyanov, the Managing partner of IBC Global.

According to expert, the high rates are explained by the poor national development industry and need for import of some materials, including sandwich panels and special equipment for dockage facilities.

As of the start of year 2024, IBC Global data, there is only one warehousing complex of Class A - Smart Logistic, with total area of 12 thou. sq. m in the Republic. In Kyrgyzstan there are another 34 thou. sq. m of Class B warehousing property. However, in the next 18 months the supply in the high-class warehouse segment will increase in 20 times, told Stanislav Akhmedzyanov. It will become possible due to commissioning of logistic complex with total area of 163 thou. sq. m north of Bishkek in the autumn 2024. And at the start of year 2025 the construction of "Batyr Logistic Center" with area of 110 thou. sq. m. will be completed in the same location.
