Construction of the first stage of a large-scale warehousing complex is near to completion at the Boralday route of Almaty Region. The first block with the railroad cargo terminal will occupy the area of 15 000 m2. It will be commissioned in 2024, with the volume of investments at this stage exceeding 3 bln. tenge. The news was reported by IBC Global international consultant in warehousing real estate. The estimated monthly rental rate is 5,000 tenge net of VAT.
The warehousing complex in Boralday will include a group of buildings of various classes and sizes with a total area of about 90,000 m2. At present the construction of Class B+ building is near to completion. The operational height of the premises is 9.6 m, which allows the efficient use of the vertical space for storage; there will be gas heating and office spaces. The floors will have the high load-bearing strength of 5 ton/m2 as minimum, which will allow tenants to use heavy warehousing machinery. The particular attention is focused on the logistics aspects: 14 gates at the side of railroad deadlock and 15 docking levellers for motor transport loading are designed. The project provides for the covered shed, the ramp 6 meters long and rail spur 365 m long, which ensures high availability and efficiency of the logistics operations.
